Say hello to the flavors of summer with this light and refreshing shrimp sauté. A medley of peppers and onions cook alongside fresh shrimp. Some GOYA® Sazonador Total contributes just the right amount of flavor while a dash of lemon juice brightens up the dish. Try it with your favorite side dish for a perfectly complete meal in under 30 minutes!
medium yellow onion, finely chopped
green bell pepper, finely chopped
red bell pepper, finely chopped
yellow bell pepper, finely chopped
GOYA® Minced Garlic
hot pepper flakes
GOYA® Lemon Juice
peeled and deveined large shrimp (tails left on), about 16-20 pieces
finely chopped fresh cilantro
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until very hot, but not smoking. Add onions, green, red and yellow bell pepper and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables soften, about 7 minutes. Stir in Sazonador Total and hot pepper flakes. Pour in lemon juice and sugar; bring to boil.
Add shrimp to skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp and bright pink and opaque, about 3 minutes. Garnish with cilantro
Serve with rice, over pasta or next to freshly cooked vegetables.
